Java Moon is a delightful villa property in a lush tropical garden on the outskirts of Colombo. Bordering the Bolgoda Lake, you will struggle to believe that you are within easy reach of the city limits and the benefits that the urban life of the capitol bring. This is a great place for those who will wish to visit to Colombo without spending too much time inside the city itself. Depending on the traffic the journey time to Colombo can be just over half an hour, but be careful to avoid the rush hour or it could be substantially more.

The Villa consists of two beautifully furnished rooms. The master bedroom stands detached from the villa, with wooden doors and windows on all sides which open to provide great light, a lovely breeze and superb view. The stylish bathroom is attached and is decorated in different tones of blue. Polished cement had been used throughout and there is a deep bath/shower which has doors which open out onto a private garden courtyard. The room is well furnished with antique chairs and tables and there is a lounge bed for kids or just to use as extra sitting area. In front of the bedroom is an exquisite, turquoise infinity pool, with steps into it from the verandah and a panoramic view of the lake.

The second bedroom is located inside the main house. Slightly smaller, it is air conditioned (as it doesn't have the breeze factor of the master bedroom) and beautifully furnished, with a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. The main house also has a living room with tv and dvd and two distinct dining areas - one situated in the garden at the front of the house and the other at the rear overlooking the water garden and main courtyard. Meals can also be taken next to the pool, overlooking the lake.

The property has its own boat and can organise fishing trips and excursions onto the lake. The long-term management team of husband and wife Max & Gwen will take great care of you and provide excellent meals in a number of different cuisines. Rental of the villa is exclusive and you will have this beautiful and private place to yourselves.
