Depart from London Heathrow (regional airports available on request).

DAY 2-7:

On arrival meet your English speaking chauffeur guide and transfer to Park Street Hotel. The UK will drop away from you as you arrive at Colombo's most stylish hotels.

An exciting week and Colombo will be buzzing with the visit of the English - one of the events of the Colombo calender. Colombo is an exciting ground to visit and the cricket usually goes the distance here. Colombo has many fine restaurants for the evening and The Park Street Hotel is an oasis of calm.

Overnight: Park Street (6 nights)

DAY 8-9:

The Kandalama Hotel is a one of Sri Lanka's landmark hotels and it is situated in the heart of Sri Lanka's 'cultural triangle'. Visit the magnificent Sigiriya and the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.

Your flexible tour will enable you to take in as many of the local sites as you have the enthusiasm to fit in. Your time is your own - but all transport, guiding and entrances fees will be included in advance.

Overnight: The Kandalama Hotel Luxury room on a half board basis.(2 nights)

DAYS 10-12:

Transfer this morning to Kandy the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, and take a walk around the striking Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. From there travel on into the hill country and stay at the wonderful Lavender House for an authentic and luxurious tea country experience.

Overnight: Lavender House (3 nights Half Board)

DAY 13-15:

A relaxing break on one of Sri Lanka's finest stretches of beach at Bentota and enjoying the hospitality of one of Sri Lanka's finest boutique beach hotels.

Those with less time might want to leave off the beach or the hill part and we are happy to adjust the tour to suit.

Overnight Club Villa (3 nights)

DAY 16:

A relaxed start to the day and transfer up to the Wallawwa - for a relaxing last night before your early start in the morning.

Overnight: The Wallawwa (1 night).

Departure transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
