Day-to-Day Itinerary : Family Cricket Classic
DAY 1: 23RD MARCH, 2012
Depart from London Heathrow (regional airports Available on Request)
DAY 2:
Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Galle via your own private mini-van with chauffeur guide.
On arrival check your family in to your own private fully staffed villa. All the joyful fun of family life without the stress and strains of making it work for you. Hotel service, villa privacy! Overnight: Southpoint Villa (7 nights)
DAYS 3-8:
The villa will be your base from which the watch the cricket in nearby Galle. The wonderful thing about a villa is that if some members of the family are less enthusiastic than others there is plenty to enjoy just relaxing by the pool in your villa!
DAY 9:
Your chauffeur-guide will pick you up from your hotel and start your tour. The drive to the hill country takes several hours through magnificent scenery. Your family will have a hill country cottage to yourselves with magnificent views and clean fresh air. The wonderful tea for which Sri Lanka is famous is grown around here. Overnight: Kelbourne Estate Cottages (2 nights)
DAY 10:
Take a train ride, hike through the hills or take high tea in the old colonial hill station.
DAY 11:
Transfer down through the hills, via Kandy to the area known as the cultural triangle. An area rich in archaeological sites such as the famous Rock Fortress at Sigirya, reckoned by many in Sri Lanka to be the Eighth Wonder of the Ancient World! Overnight: Sigiriya Village (3 nights)
DAYS 12-13:
Your flexible tour will enable you to take in as many of the local sites as you have the enthusiasm to fit in. Your times is yours - but all transport, guiding and entrances fees will be included in advance. We recommend an elephant ride through the jungle!
DAY 14:
Transfer to Colombo. An early start if you want to make the start of the days play though it is your holiday too so leave when you feel like it! Stay on the edge of Colombo in one of the citys best hotels. Overnight: Mount Lavinia Hotel (2 nights)
DAY 15:
A full days of cricket watching and remember that in the sub-continent the matches are much more likely to go the distance.

Departure to the airport.
