Transfers between all hotels and the airport included. There is no chauffeur guide to allow you more flexibility and to take into account that many people who chose this itinerary want to do very little. DAYS 1 & 2 - HORATHAPOLA COCONUT ESTATE - PANNALA
This is perhaps our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. The plantation bungalow has four bedrooms in idyllic surroundings. A relaxed start to the tour, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this exceptional place. (2 nights, Suite Room, half board)
DAYS 3, 4 & 5 - THE KANDY HOUSE - KANDY
The next three nights will be spent in Kandys newest and finest boutique hotel, The Kandy House. The converted aristocratic walauwe, or manor house, is a fine example of Kandyan architecture and a wonderful base for exploring or simply relaxing in beautiful and stylish surroundings. Visit the famous Temple of the Tooth, play Golf at the Victoria Golf Course, explore the vibrant street markets and stroll around the Kandy lake. Kandy has seduced generations of visitors and continues to charm. It's rich history survives to this day. It is possible to visit Sigirya from here - but it is a long drive.(3 nights, Gallery Room, breakfast included)
DAYS 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 ADITYA - DODANDUWA
One of Sri Lanka's finest boutique hotels. Recently opened, the hotel's twelve suite rooms are perhaps the largest of any hotel in the island. Sensual design & architecture and great service mean your time here will be effortlessly relaxing. The hotel sits on a virtually deserted stretch of sandy beach. Short trips can be taken to Galle and the other south-coast beaches or simply laze around and enjoy the idyllic, indulgent surroundings.(5 nights, Seaview Suite, breakfast included)
