This 4 night, 5 day kayak adventure explores 'off the beaten track' locations along the landscapes and waterways which stretch between Mahiyangana to Polonnaruwa.

The trip takes in this very seldom explored river, where wild nature can be seen at its very best.

Half of the trip goes through the majestic Wasgamuwa National Park where it is possible to see an amazing variety of flora and fauna. One of the least visited yet largest parks in Sri Lanka, Wasgamuwa is a real adventure by jeep, let alone paddle power! The park is home to herds of Elephants as well as the elusive Sloth Bear.

Along the way you will set up camp in a variety of wild and beautiful locations. Your guides are experts in the wilderness of Sri Lanka and the equipment is of the highest, international standards. The final night is at the Chaya Village hotel to relax and unwind in comfort after the adventure.

The tour is all-inclusive. Camping, canoeing, and safety equipment are provided. An experienced guide will be with you from start to finish. Also included are safety lessons, canoeing lessons, all food & drink and transportation.
