Typical Sri Lankan tours involve a great deal of moving about - just to try and experience the full variety of the scenery, wildlife and culture on offer in Sri Lanka makes at least a four if not five stop tour is generally necessary.
However, we at Experience Travel realise that some of you have hectic lives and you come on holiday to relax. We have designed this tour for you to enjoy some of Sri Lanka’s contrasting and sumptuous scenery, and superb hotels but at relaxing and slow pace.
This 15 day tour takes you to three of the finest hotels in Sri Lanka: ideal locations to relax and unwind. Visit two coastal areas and the iconic hill country to relax amongst the tea plantations.

Day-to-Day Itinerary : Relax in Style
DAY 1 - DEPARTURE
Depart London Heathrow for Colombo, Sri Lanka.
DAYS 2 & 3 – REEF, WADDUWA
Although you would never know it, this exotic hideaway is only 2 hours from the airport, making Reef the perfect place for your first couple of nights. With a beautiful garden and pool, huge rooms and a fantastic menu, enjoy a relaxed start to your tour for two nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
DAYS 4, 5, 6 & 7 – TEA TRAILS, HATTON
The next four nights will be spent nestled within a working tea estate at an altitude of 5000ft. Your Tea Trails bungalow is set around the beautiful Castlereagh Reservoir in the Bagolantalawa region of the hill country. Set your own pace here, whiling away the days reading the grounds, lazing by the pool, being pampered in the tea spa or trying one of the many activities on offer. Stay for four nights on an all-inclusive basis.
DAYS 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 – AMANWELLA, TANGALLE
You will move down to the south coastal town of Tangalle for seven nights. One of Sri Lanka’s most striking hotels, Amanwella consists of luxurious bungalows which curve around a beautiful crescent shaped bay. Spend some time relaxing in the spa, enjoying the calm sea waters and blissful surroundings.
