There is a side to Sri Lanka which few tourists get to see. It's not in the Lonely Planet so independent tourists certainly won't get there and most urban Sri Lankan’s will look at you in amazement if you suggest away from the main tourist trail.

We firmly believe that visits to these areas add an extra dimension to your holiday and certainly a better understanding of the country. People are generally delighted to see you and you bring much needed revenue to regions that usually miss out. There is no need to miss out the main sites either – we’ll ensure that you see everything you need to.

We are talking here about the wilds of the east, the Puttalam District, Mannar, Jaffna, Sinharaja, The Knuckles Mountain Range and many more hidden nooks and crannies – some within touching distance even of the major sites but rarely visited nonetheless.
