The southern wing of the Galle Face Hotel, has laid derelict for many years. Finally the hotel has renovated the wing and in so doing created a sister hotel for The Galle Face, that is worthy of the illustrious history of this venerable old institution.

Galle Face, The Regency, enjoys the same luxurious position on the sea front, as well as being very central for Colombo sightseeing and shopping. In addition, the rooms and set up has been brought up to the standards of a modern five star hotel. The stylishly and luxuriously upgrade has been well incorporated into the existing Victorian architecture and design. The development has also seen the addition of an excellent spa complex, complete with spa suites.

The hotel has 82 rooms in total including many suites which offer guests to a private jacuzzis. We suggest booking into an ocean view suite or room as this hotel offers the most luxurious sea view suites in Colombo.
