Hilpankandura, the holiday home of the Wijetunga Family is now open to guests. Formerly an Estate Junior Executive's Bungalow, it has been tastefully transformed into a 4 bed roomed holiday home with a large lawn and great views. The house comes complete with a cook and house keeper. Breakfast & Dinner with unlimited cups of Ceylon tea are included in the price.

The Estate is a working one and guests can walk around and see for themselves, how tea is grown and plucked. This is the authentic Sri Lankan holiday experience!

There is very easy access to bustling Bandarawela town and it's environs, good walking opportunities and the delightful train ride to nearby Ella with it's magnificent views and Rawana Heights waterfall.
