The Serendib Stone Bunngalow is a quaint, seven bedroom hotel in an old colonial building on the edge of Kandy. Located a short drive from the town, the property offers the chance to stay in the leafy hills whilst having the sites and attractions of Kandy city close at hand.

The overall aesthetic is a mix of old and new, with period furniture sitting beside contemporary touches. The property has been lovingly restored throughout and possesses a great deal of character. Polished cement lends a swish finish to the bathrooms and bedrooms. The bungalow is essentially very simple but tastefully finished and designed.

The Serendib Stone Bungalow's restaurant serves vegetarian Sri Lankan cuisine only, albeit at a very high standards, whilst a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are always available.

Somewhat unusually for a small and relatively simple property of this nature, the property also has a swimming pool and and outdoor jacuzzi.

The Serendib Stone Lodge is excellent value for money and it's simple charms will appeal to many a traveller.
