A great value option for a family looking for a villa near the beach, the bungalow is the quieter younger sister property to the magnificent Mirissa Hills. The villa is a traditional old Walauwe or manor house in the Dutch style. These houses were beautifully constructed with thick stone walls, designed to keep out the heat.

This particular villa lies a short distance inland from the stunning, quiet beaches of Mirissa and Weligama. The three bedrooms are well furnished and the property lies at the bottom of the hill for which Mirissa Hills is named. It is on the edge of the same cinnamon estate and managed by the same laid back staff.

The furnishings in the main part of the villa are worthy of properties costing 5 times more lovely wooden furniture and gentle decor, with a light Asian finish.

This cosy villa comes equipped with cook and staff and the food is served on the large wooden dining table. The food is reasonably priced and excellent. Seafood is the speciality. If there are no guests at Mirissa Hills, it also possible to eat there.

The price makes it a fantastic value option for families, or as supplementary accommodation for a large group at Mirissa Hills.

Comfort - This is what we would describe as our standard category. These will be decent 3/4* hotels providing a really good level of service. We would generally expect them to be providing a little something extra, whether it is character, service or excellent facilities.
