Setting off from Sir Thomas Liptons historic Dambatenne Tea Factory in the Hill Country, this fantastic walk takes you up through the tea plantations to the viewpoint said to be Thomas Liptons favourite spot to come and quietly meditate and survey his estates. The view from here rivals that of Worlds End and on a clear day it is possible to see all the way to the coast. The most reliable time to get the view is in the early morning, though on a clear day you should be Ok at any time.

While it is not overly strenuous, and older children should easily manage it, do bear in mind that climbing any distance in the heat can be tiring and taking up some water and provisions would be essential.
