Located right in the centre of the historic Dutch Fort, the hotel is the ideal place to base yourself for a trip to Galle. Set inside a beautifully restored seventeenth-century villa, the hotel was designed by Channa Daswatte, protege of the celebrated Geoffrey Bawa.
Stroll out of the door and almost at once you will find yourself on the famous ramparts and criss-crossing streets of the fort. The sparkling swimming pool that crosses the open courtyard is irresistible. The restaurant is highly rated and attracts guests from outside the hotel, as does the coffee bar which overlooks the bustling streets of the fort.
