Lake Lodge is a 6 bedroom hotel in the little village of Kandalama, in the heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle.

The property is located on a small hillock on the edge of the picturesque Kandalama Lake. The hotel has 6 air conditioned rooms with large balconies that give a panoramic views of the surrounding area and distant the hills of Mihintale. On a clear day the sunset from these balconies is spectacular. All rooms are designed in a sleek, modern style and have attached bathrooms with running hot water.

The hotel has a large Swimming pool which is perfect for cooling of amongst the afternoon wildlife. Local food is the speciality and a number of fusion dishes are also offered. Breakfast is whenever you feel like it and the choice is either traditional English or a healthy and fruity Sri Lankan breakfast. Meals can be taken any time, in the dining area or from the privacy on your balcony. The restaurant overlooks the Kandalama Lake; spectacular at all times but particularly mesmerising at sunrise and sunset.
