The Frangipani Tree is an intimate, elegant beach sanctuary with 10 exquisitely furnished suites in four villas. It is located on the west end of Thalpe bay on a long stretch of secluded and picturesque beach.

Each end of the suites is appointed with modern and elegant custom furnishings, four poster beds and verandas with sunbeds and private dining tables.

The food served up by the resident chef is worthy of particular mention here. The property has beautiful landscaped gardens and a tennis court - the only villa or boutique hotel in the country to do so. An air of calm surround the property and the staff are wonderfully friendly, attentive and informal.

The property is the sister venture from the folks at the Fort Printers in Galle, who have gained an excellent reputation of the last couple of years and a property that receives great feedback from our clients.

Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
